Summit Church (“Summit Church” or “we” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, protect, and disclose your Personal Information when you use our website www.summitchurch.com (“Site”), visit our physical locations, and use our streaming services (herein referred to together as “Services”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION

“Personal Information” means information that alone or in combination identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly with a particular consumer or household. Personal Information does not include information that has been deidentified or aggregated in a way that it cannot be used to identify a specific individual.

When you access or use the Services, we may collect:

  • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: such as information regarding your interaction with our Site or advertisement links, you use or web pages you visit while visiting our site, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), cookies, and mobile device information including device identifier or other information.

Directly from You

We collect your Personal Information directly from you when you access, use, or otherwise interact with the Services, such as when you create an account to use our streaming services or visit one of our physical locations and fill out a welcome form.

From You Automatically

We may collect certain information about you automatically when you use our Site, such as your IP address, mobile carrier, and other device identifiers that are automatically assigned to your computer or device when you access the Internet. From Third Parties

We may receive Personal Information about you from third parties including from:

  • Service Providers: We may receive Personal Information about you from third parties that we use to provide you with services.
  • Analytics Providers: We may receive Personal Information related to your use of our Site from third-party analytics providers. For more information see the “Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies” section below.
  • Others: We may receive Personal Information about you from other third parties such as other individuals who refer you to us.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your Personal Information for business purposes such as:

  • To provide and maintain the Services, including to create an account and verify your identity, maintain and improve the Services and your experience, and troubleshoot problems;

Summit Church does not engage in automated decision-making or profiling of any kind as those terms are defined by state and global privacy laws.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share any of the categories of Personal Information described above with service providers and other third parties for business purposes or as required or permitted by law including with:

  • Service Providers: For example, we may share Personal Information with vendors to help us host and manage our Services; improve the content and functionality of our Services, perform data analysis and statistical analysis, troubleshoot problems, provide email services, provide data processing, ensure the security of our Services and operations, and provide support to our operations.
  • Payment and Billing Processors: In addition to the service providers above, we share Personal Information with payment processing and billing service providers.
  • Parties to Business Transactions: In the event of an anticipated or actual merger or acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, we may transfer or allow third parties to use information owned or controlled by us, including Personal Information.   • Government Regulators, Law Enforcement, and Other Parties for Legal Reasons: We may share your Personal Information with individuals or private parties where we reasonably believe such action is necessary to enforce and comply with the law, to protect our property or legal rights, for the safety of the public or any person, to prevent harm, and to protect the security and integrity of the Platform and any equipment used to make the Services available.
  • Professional Advisors: We may share Personal Information with our professional advisors, such as our attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and business advisors in their capacity as advisors to Summit Church.
  • Marketing and Advertising Partners: We may share personal and other information with third-party online and other marketing and advertising partners or permit these partners to collect personal information from you directly on our Sites to personalize online advertising.

We may also share your Personal Information with third parties when you explicitly direct us to do so.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We retain your Personal Information in usable form in accordance with applicable laws or regulatory requirements and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to fulfill the business purposes outlined in this Policy.

COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies (collectively “Cookies”) on our Site. A Cookie is a small text file that our Site saves onto your computer or device when you visit the Site that provides us certain information about your activities. Cookies allow the Site to remember your actions and preferences and recognize you or your browser along with information you provided.

We use these tools to make our Site function properly, provide personalized experiences, tailor our interactions with you, improve our marketing efforts, provide us with insights about the usage and effectiveness of our Site, and to help us improve our Site and Services.

We use Google Analytics and similar technologies to collect and process Personal Information about your use of the Site. Google uses this information to provide us with reports that we use to better understand and measure how users interact with our Site. Session Replay

We use session replay software that allows us to collect information captured by third parties about how you navigate, use, and interact with our site or Services in real-time for product development, debugging, and to improve our site and Services. Personal Information captured may include the date and time you visited our Site or Services, IP Address, browser information, device ID, operating system, cookie and customer ID, mouse clicks, mouse movements, keystrokes and text input, scrolling behavior, behavioral metrics, heatmaps, webpage or content loading times, and Site errors. By using our site, you agree that we and the third parties capturing it can collect and use this information.

SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS, VIDEOS, AND EXTERNAL SITES

Links to other entities’ Sites may be provided on our Site for your convenience. If you choose to go to these external websites, you will be subject to their privacy practices. Summit Church is not responsible for the privacy practices of any external parties or websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

Our Site and the Services may contain videos and embedded content, including visible content and/or scripts embedded in the Site or Service’s code or other functionality that allows for interaction with third-party content or applications. Our service providers and other third parties may collect data about how you interact with such content and other Personal Information, including what videos you watch. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policies for any such third party prior to engaging with such functionalities.

We are active on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Christian World Media, and Twitter (“Social Media”). Anything you post on Social Media is public information and will not be treated confidentially. We may post (or re-post) on the Site and our Social Media pages any comments or content that you post on our Social Media pages. Your use of Social Media is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the applicable Social Media providers.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

We offer the following choices with respect to how we use your Personal Information.

You may update or correct any Personal Information you have provided us by updating your account here or reaching out to us at help@summitchurch.com. If you choose to do so, we will make reasonable efforts to make the requested updates promptly.

You can opt out of marketing and other promotional email communications you receive from us by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in those email messages. It may take us a few days to process your request. During that processing period, you may receive additional marketing and other promotional emails from us. Please note opting out of these communications will only apply to marketing and other promotional emails and will not apply to any email or other communications we send to you for non-marketing purposes, including but not limited to emails and other communications about your interactions with our Site.

SECURITY

Protecting your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to maintain the security and privacy of Personal Information we collect and use and limit access to your Personal Information to those who need it to do their jobs.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not direct or target any piece of our Services or knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected the Personal Information of anyone under the age of 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian of someone under the age of 13 and discover that your child has submitted Personal Information to us, please contact us at help@summitchurch.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases.
